VFW Post 3617 has two excellent Service Officers in Larry Strozyk and Joe Brown. They commit hundreds of hours every month to supporting and assisting the veterans of Douglas County. They are well versed in assisting veterans in many varied area of veterans information, including working with veterans to acquire military documents, records, and histories, and can assist in VA Forms preparation and submission. They can assist and insure that you receive your full veterans entitlements and benefits.

They are extremely knowledgeable and can assist you without charge or expense to you. No one works harder to assist veterans than Larry & Joe. Larry Strozyk named Volunteer Service Officer of the Year

Washington Department of Veterans Administration

Larry Strozyk was honored in late November by the Washington Department of the Veterans Administration by being selected as the Volunteer Service Officer of the Year.

Larry has over a 92% claim success rate, and has helped veterans receive over 1.7 million dollars in benefits. He is thorough and tireless in his efforts to assist veterans and help them with their claims.
