Wenatchee Valley VFW Post 3617 has hosted the Washington State Fallen Heroes Project for five years at our Classy Chassis Parade and the Washington State Apple Blossom Festival Parade. This year they were honored by the Stemilt Growers with the First Place Specialty Unit Award. Members of our Post & Auxiliary along Gold Star Families, as well as local sports organizations, Civil Air Patrol, Veterans, and others, marched and carried Fallen Hero Banners to Honor the Fallen. It is very moving to have everyone stand and applaud as you carry them. We are truly honors to host the great group of Gold Star Families at our Annual Spring Parades.
