Earlier this month, an event was held at the Wenatchee Convention Center to recognize and honor Purple Heart Veterans from around the area. This was the 3rd such and biggest yet event put on by Chelan County with the support from multiple local sponsors.

In addition to that event, Manson also joined the Purple Heart Trail by officially becoming a Purple Heart Community and hosting their first Purple Heart Day event earlier that day.
