The Auxiliary’s annual patriotic art contest for elementary and middle/junior high school students encourages students’ artistic abilities and rewards their hard work. It’s fun to see how our youth see the world through their drawings and paintings.
On Friday, 11 July, Auxiliary members announced this year’s winners and distributed their awards.
K-2, 1st place – Romeo Romero (also took 2nd place at District); 2nd place – Harrison Law (also took 1st place at District and 3rd at State), 3rd place – Ryder Therien; Dakota Countryman did not place at our Post but did rank 3rd at District. James Law took honorable mention in this division.
3-5, 1st place – Evelynn Law (also took 2nd place at District); 2nd place – Mia Romero; 3rd place – Khole Van Horn; Elizabeth Mendez Villeda received the honorable mention for this division.
6-8, 1st place – Lily Smith, also took 1st at District.
