Our Post is responsible for handling the registration table for the entire convention. In addition to being ambassadors for the Valley, our main duties will be helping attendees register on the correct District Sign-In Sheets and collecting a convention fee. We can expect to open the registration table at 0800 and close at 1500 each day. We’ll also have a collection of brochures provided by the Wenatchee Chamber that highlight restaurants and attractions to visit while they’re here. Thank you to all of our comrades that volunteered to manage the registration tables during this convention.

If you attend, you’ll have the opportunity to meet and greet our VFW National Commander, Carol Whitmore, and the National Auxiliary Representative on Thursday (6/18) evening in the Hospitality Suite (location TBD) starting at 1900.
Other events happening include a Joint Memorial Service on Thursday (6/18) at 1700. Then, starting on Friday (6/19) from 0900-1600, VFW program and committee managers will give their year-end reports to the membership in the Orchard South Room. This will cover all programs the VFW is actively participating in.
Friday evening is the awards banquet starting with a No Host Social Hour at 1730, followed with banquet seating at 1800. Dress code for the banquet is business attire with no hat. Banquet tickets are already sold out.
