As happens every summer, stuff grows. And the “stuff” (including weeds, trees, and the occasional yucca plant) all around our parking lot was no exception. So on a not-too-hot Saturday in late August, a couple of our dedicated Post and Auxiliary members came together to clean things up.

Jennifer, Parrish, and Steve & Dee Johnson took care of cleaning things up, and they did a great job, as you can see.

All this just in time to have our front wall completed. This area had previously been fenced in with chain link, but someone crashed into it last year. As a Post we decided to remove that section of fence and replace it with a paver wall. Looks quite a bit nicer now, don’t you think?
