The Classy Chassis and Apple Blossom parades this year were great successes! The Auxiliary handed our over 800 flags at the Classy Chassis with the assistance from Post members Jim Reece and John Harrington.

As we have done for many years, we sponsored the Washington State Fallen Heroes (WFH) as an entry in the Stemilt Grand Parade. The WFH Memorial Float and 300-plus banners returned to Wenatchee. While we didn’t get a final count, the Grand Parade had a great showing of volunteers to carry banners honoring Washingtonians who died while serving in the last 25 years.

Additionally, Chapel of the Valley had a float in the parade which included a large number of veterans riding and waving. Thank you to the Chapel of the Valley for being supportive of our veterans, families, and the work we do in our community.

Unfortunately, we were so busy being involved in all of this that we forgot to get any photos, doh! A big thank you to everyone for making it such a memorable event, even if we don’t have the photographic evidence.
