Dear Comrades:

A motion was put forth at the December 2025 General Membership Meeting to change the name of this Post from “Wenatchee Valley Post” to “Wenatchee Valley”.

Historically, VFW National has sometimes addressed us as Wenatchee Valley Post Post, causing confusion and issues when ordering caps and other post-specific customized items. We are wanting to officially remove “Post” from our name, hopefully preventing further similar issues.

All members in good standing are highly encouraged to attend the 18 March 2026 General Membership Meeting, in person or via Zoom, where this motion will be brought to the floor for final discussion and a vote of the quorum. Approval of this motion requires at least 2/3 “yes” vote of the members present.

IAW the 2026 Veterans of Foreign Wars Manual of Procedure, Section 208, this serves as the thirty (30) day written notice of the proposed action.
